The main part of a laser cutting machine that controls cutting quality is the laser cutting head. The design of the optical path, the cooling system, and the placement of the motor are just a few of the challenges that the laser cutting head must overcome.
Laser head
The laser cutting head is the core component of the laser cutting machine, which determines the cutting quality. The laser cutting head needs to solve a series of difficulties such as the coating process of the lens, the optical path design, the cooling system, and the positioning of the motor.
The advantages of Laser head
Perfect cutting, precise matching, reducing material loss and cost
Reduce cutting steps, even the thickest steel plate can be perfectly cut
Greatly reduce time and labor costs and improve work efficiency
Can be applied to cutting a variety of materials, with a wider range of applications
The component of Laser head
It is the most commonly used consumable part of laser cutting machine tools. There are mainly three types: parallel type, convergent type, and cone type. The cutting quality is closely related to the form of the nozzle and the size of the nozzle.
It is the core component of the cutting head. The original beam emitted by the laser is focused by the lens to form a high-energy-density spot. Both the focal length and focus position of the focusing lens have an impact on the quality of laser cutting. For high-speed cutting of thin materials, it is suitable to use a short focal length lens, and for cutting thick workpieces, it is suitable to use a long focal length lens.
Generally, it is composed of a focusing cutting head and a tracking sensor system. During the processing of laser cutting machines, it can prevent unsatisfactory plate collision and uneven cutting, quickly process graphics and reduce the defective rate of products.
At present, there are mainly two types of tracking systems, the first is a capacitive sensor tracking system, also known as a non-contact tracking system; the second is an inductive sensor tracking system, also known as a contact tracking system.
